We have collected a few program tips for you. If you arrive without fixed plans, feel free to pick and choose. Even if you already have a plan, it’s worth taking a look — maybe something is still missing from the recipe for perfect relaxation.
Lipót Spa
The best thermal bath in Szigetköz is only 300 meters awayfrom you. Take advantage of it and spend a day – or even several – swimming,
splashing around, or soaking your aching joints in the healing water! The thermal pool is open even in winter, and it’s a unique experience to enjoy the
gentle warmth in the steaming water while gazing at the winter landscape through the mist.....
Morotva Lake – Birdwatching
Walk out to the birdwatching spot at Morotva Lake, equipped with a thermos – depending on the season and weather, filled with hot or cold drink – and a blanket, and observe the movements of countless waterbirds. You can also go fishing here, but don’t forget your fishing license!
Lipót Bakery
Take a walk to the Lipót Bakery factory and head upstairs. At small tables, you can enjoy delicious coffee with freshly made pastries –while through the large glass walls you can also see the bakery at work.
Dodó Wildlife Farm and Leisure Park
A charming “mini animal farm” that is great fun not only for kids but also for adults! It can easily be reached on foot or by bike.
Canoe Trip
There are many opportunities in the area to join organized
canoe tours or rent a canoe. The latter is only recommended for experienced paddlers, and always with a life
jacket.

Old Danube
The Vadludak Harbor is a perfect starting point for a canoe trip. Discover the peaceful, beautiful world of the Danube branches in Szigetköz! If you don’t feel like paddling, just take a book with you and spend a few hours by the water, admiring the river and the trees — or perhaps roast potatoes or bacon for dinner!
Lunch or dinner
If you would like to go shopping, the best option is "Sziget-Közért", which awaits you with very favorable opening hours and the full range of products from Lipóti Pékség. If you don't feel like cooking, there are plenty of great restaurants in the area. Based on our personal experience, we recommend the following:
Futura Experience Center
The Futura Experience Center is located in Mosonmagyaróvár,
about 20 km away, easily accessible by bike or car. It’s an excellent
entertainment option for children, but adults won’t get bored either…
