Discover Lipót in Szigetköz,– the birthplace of the legendary Lipót Bakery!
Though home to fewer than a thousand people, this is the most enchanting village of Szigetköz: relax in the thermal spa, enjoy fishing at the lake, visit the charming church, or simply wander among lush greenery, colorful flowers, and graceful water birds such as grey herons, swans, ducks and wild geese.
Arriving from Darnózseli, you’ll be greeted by the breathtaking chestnut tree avenue – a magical tunnel nearly 3 km long. In spring, when the chestnuts are in bloom, it turns into a truly unforgettable sight.

Our well-equipped, brand-new guesthouse, named after the chestnut tree avenue, has been welcoming visitors since this year. Located right next to the avenue, our cozy house is just a stone’s throw from the popular Lipót Thermal Bath and close to the Morotva Lake, famous for its rich birdlife.
From our garden and terrace, you can enjoy views of the chestnut avenue and the fields alive with the sounds of chirping crickets. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on the shady terrace, surrounded by fragrant blooms and birdsong, watching wild geese flying overhead, or spotting a deer grazing in the meadow.

Our newly built guesthouse opens its doors to guests this year, offering completely new
furniture, beds, mattresses, and amenities throughout.
The house is fully air-conditioned, and the temperature can be individually adjusted in the living room and all three bedrooms. Each bedroom has been given a charming name inspired by its décor: the largest is the Fish Room , the smallest the Fox Room, and the third the Cat Room. The Fish and Cat Rooms feature king-size double beds, while the Fox Room has a built-in 150x200 cm bed.
The Fish Room has its own private bathroom and a cozy reading nook for relaxing. Guests in the Fox and Cat Rooms share a separate bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet.

Upon request, we can provide a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub for little ones.
In the open-plan kitchen and living area, a pull-out sofa is ready for anyone staying
overnight here. The room is also equipped with a projector and screen, perfect
for watching TV or movies. High-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge. A
comfortable hanging chair invites reading or quiet contemplation.
A large six-person table is perfect for enjoying a meal or a fun game of cards with
friends or family. The terrace offers a similar setup, with a large table and seating for relaxing outdoor
From the kitchen, a storage room is accessible, equipped with a washing machine and
dryer. Here you’ll also find an iron, ironing board, and drying rack.
The kitchen is fully equipped: refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, induction cooktop, and
dishwasher ensure you don’t have to spend too much time on cooking or washing
up. A kettle, toaster, and Nespresso capsule coffee machine are also available
for your convenience.
In the hallway cabinets, you’ll find board games and playing cards—perfect for rainy or lazy
days.
Our guesthouse comfortably accommodates 5–6 guests.
We have designed the interior with natural
materials, including plenty of wooden furniture. The bedding is made from
natural cotton, and the mattresses are hypoallergenic.
The garden is perfect for roasting bacon, cooking outdoors in a cauldron, playing soccer, or enjoying badminton. All garden toys, equipment, and bicycles are stored in the
garden shed.

Check-in is available from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Access is provided via a key stored in a password-protected safe. The code will be sent to you by SMS or email (upon request) before your arrival.
Check-out is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure; late check-out may incur an additional fee.
